Secretary Report

• Approval of May 2017 meeting minutes
• A huge “thank you” for hosting us in this lovely classroom! Make sure to ask for a tour and check out the long arm – this is a great option if you’re interested in getting into longarming or finishing some of your quilts but don’t want to invest in buying your own machine! Reach out to Erynn via the secretary email if you have any questions.
• We will make sure to announce when we have worked through the details for getting a corporate rate for the guild – if you’d like to join the TechShop please email Erynn at [email protected] so we have an accurate count for negotiations.

President Report

• July Meeting will be at Mulqueens and we will be doing quilt on charity quilt block sewing
  • QuiltCon 2018 Charity Block
  • Pictures are over on the Resources page
• August will be Demo Day – fill out this form if you are willing to do a demo. Likely will be back at tech shop for demo day.
  • Go to PerfectPotluck.com to sign up to bring something – the organizer’s last name is Truex and our password is phxmqg
  • YOU MUST BRING SOMETHING PRE-PACKAGED. Sorry folks, according to TechShop rules, we cannot bring in anything homemade.

  • Quilt on registration opens next week
  • If nothing else, sign up to get your free sow pass – just in case you decide to go last minute, you will not be able to get a complimentary pass after November 30th!
• Block Lottery
  • Draw raffle ticket for June winner (carried over envelope block lottery)
    • Congrats to Nedra for winning the block lottery!
