The half square triangle units measure 3″ finished. The “Row 1″ unit is made up of 2 strips of 28 HSTs and 6” of background-only pieces, making this row 90.5 inches wide when stitched together. Great question!

Is there a specific size for the 56 half square triangle? At 3” finished square it would make a row 168” long. Are you counting the triangles or finished squares?
