October Workshop RSVP Only is Full!

This workshop is full so if you aren’t already registered for it, you don’t need to read further.  If you have already reserved your spot for the workshop, here is a reminder of what you need to bring because piec-lique workshop is coming up soon–October 5th at 12:00 at the Chandler Police Station (250 East Chicago Street, Chandler, AZ 85225).   This class will focus on easy curved seams based on her New York Beauty pattern, as well as techniques for circles, Drunkard’s Path, and improv curves.

The fee for this workshop will be $20. Payment will be accepted at the meeting by cash, check, or credit card. This fee will also provide you with a kit which will include the patterns/templates, a CD with a PDF book with complete instructions for making the block to reference in the future, and a blank sheet of high quality freezer paper to use for the class.

Equipment needed:
Sewing machine
A single needle plate for your sewing machine
Size 75 machine embroidery needles
Piecing thread (beige or gray)
Basic sewing Kit
Hard pressing Mat
Regular spray starch. (No spray sizing)
Freezer paper.
Medium stencil brush (1/2”)
Water Soluble Basting Glue
Permanent marking pen
Serger/Surgical tweezers
Scissors (Paper and fabric scissors)
12 1/2” square ruler
Rotary cutter and mat
Iron: You will need your own (The only one that I find is hot enough to work is a Black and Decker travel iron or a Rowenta travel iron. You will need to purchase one. A must, no other iron works.)
Hard pressing mat
Supplies Needed:
1/2” yard for back ground.
5 different yellows for spires. (10” squares)
1 fat quarter for background behind spires.
1 fat quarter of black for arches.

For those that don’t have every last supply on hand some extras will be available for you to try out.
Cristy and Sharon will also be bringing many of their products with them, so be prepared to shop with them as well!  Sharon’s other designs, DVDs, and other supplies will be available for purchase at the workshop.

This workshop will be held at the Chandler Police Station at 250 East Chicago Street, Chandler, AZ 85225 on October 5th.  Please note we will be starting this workshop at 12:00.  The room will be available to us starting at 11:00 if you would like to come early to set up your machine.
