October 2013 – See you Saturday October 19th

October Meeting is on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at ETC – 2820 East University Drive #111 Mesa, AZ 85213.   We will be nominating leaders for 2014.   The positions that you can nominate anyone (or yourself) for are President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.   Feel free to contact any of us if you want to know more about what specifically each of us does for our position, or check over the by-laws for specifics as well.

Joining the MQG.  We will also be discussing the reason we want to have official membership to the Modern Quild Guild.  One great reason to join is this:

 Chelsa will be conducting the Pillow Swap Saturday too!

Remember the pillow isn’t to be included, but a finished pillow cover should be 18×18 and should have a flap or zipper closure and be pieced.  You are welcome to add embroidery or other embellishments, but your cover needs to be pieced

Embellishment Challenge Results!

Please bring any item you wish to share for our embellishmen t challenge for a chance to win a prize.  This is our last challenge of the year and it will be fun to show off what we have embroidered, appliqued, or otherwise embellished this year!

As always bring any Vitamin D Bee or Skillbuilder BOM blocks you have completed as well.  We look forward to seeing you there!
