August 2014 Meeting in Photos

A few weeks ago we had the largest turnout this year for the August guild meeting. Everyone gathered at ETC in Mesa for potluck lunch (yum!) and Demo Day! Eight members demonstrated various techniques.

The meeting started with the guild business and the very serious business of congratulating President Michelle Hart on being one of three winners of the MQG Michael Miller Challenge. Bonnie also talked to the group about American Made Brand fabric.

Before the demos began the Vitamin D Bee met and Mini Quilt Swap participants had the big reveal and opened their mini quilt from their secret partner.

Check out what Kim used as hang loops on the feather quilt she made for Bonnie. Small washers give a spot to help hang the mini. Brilliant!

Then it was off to enjoy potluck and take in the demonstrations.
