A gigantic thank you to everyone that made blocks for our QuiltCon Charity Quilt Challenge project!
Work has begun on an alternate grid layout which really lets the blocks and the secondary pattern shine. Piecing should be done soon so Lori (thanks Lori!) can quilt.
In other charity news, our Economy Block Eye-Spy is now bound and finished. Big thanks to Guinevere for the wonderful quilting. It will be at the December meeting then donated to AZ Blankets for Kids. There are enough blocks left that we can probably work on a second.
Speaking of the December meeting, we did get the room at ETC an hour early so the start time is noon on Saturday, December 20th. If you haven’t had a chance to sign up for the potluck or fabric swap yet be sure to take a look (links and details in the “November Meeting Details” email). There will be a post soon about cutting fat quarters for the swap.
